This policy explains what information Uplift Node ("we", "us") collects when you use upliftnode.com or connect your LinkedIn account to one of our apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Last updated 8 October 2026.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you send the Contact or Start a project form, we receive what you type in:
- Your name, email address and, if you add them, phone number and company
- Your message, and project details such as type of product, budget and timeline
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, used briefly to limit form spam (it is held in memory for about ten minutes and not stored)
- Anonymous page performance data (load times, layout shifts) through Vercel Speed Insights
- A few values in your browser's session storage, for example to skip the intro animation on repeat visits or to carry your email from the footer into the project brief. These never leave your browser.
Information from LinkedIn
If you sign in or connect your LinkedIn account to an Uplift Node app, LinkedIn shares the data you approve on its consent screen. Depending on the permissions shown, this can include your name, profile photo, email address, and permission to publish posts on your behalf or on behalf of a LinkedIn Page you manage. We only use this to provide the feature you connected, such as publishing content you asked us to publish, and we never post without your instruction.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal or quote
- To run features you have connected, such as LinkedIn sign-in or publishing
- To protect the site from spam and abuse
- To understand and improve site performance
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they only process data on our behalf:
- Google reCAPTCHA checks that form submissions come from a person. Google's privacy policy and terms apply to it.
- Google Workspace / Gmail delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides performance metrics.
- LinkedIn receives requests from our apps when you use a LinkedIn feature.
- Amazon Web Services may host our backend services and store access tokens securely.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept in our email for as long as needed to follow up and for our business records, and we delete them on request. LinkedIn access tokens expire automatically (usually after 60 days) and are deleted when you disconnect your account or ask us to remove them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it, by emailing hello@upliftnode.com. You can also remove an Uplift Node app's access at any time from your LinkedIn settings under Data privacy → Permitted services. We reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Secrets and access tokens are kept out of our source code and stored in encrypted secret storage, and access is limited to the people who need it.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
